BME's Krishnendu Roy Named Regents' Professor

Krishnendu Roy is a busy researcher with a lot of responsibilities at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

In addition to being the Robert A. Milton Endowed Chair in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, he also is director of the NSF Engineering Research Center for Cell Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT), director of the Marcus Center for Cell-Therapy Characterization and Manufacturing (MC3M), technical lead for the National Cell Manufacturing Consortium, and director of the Center for ImmunoEngineering.

Now Roy can add Regents' Professor to his list of titles and honors. He is one of six scholars from the College of Engineering to be given Regents titles from the University System of Georgia.
